Processing of personal data when visiting the website

If you access the website without any other transmission of information, pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDRP we only collect data that your browser transmits to our server during this process. This data in its entirety is necessary for technical reasons and is usually not personal data for the controller.
The following data is collected:
IP address, time of the request, time zone difference to GMT, called address (2nd-level-domain.1st-level-domain/page_called), origin (HTTP-referer), HTTP status code, transferred amount of data, browser [Type and version, e.g. "Mozilla Firefox Build 52.7.3 (64-bit)"] including its language, operating system and interface.
In particular, the IP address is, based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f), used to combat abuse and to ensure the functionality of our website.
It is therefor stored for a maximum of 2 days. Thereafter, the IP address is shortened and thus kept anonymously only.
In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are used when you use our website in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR to improve our website and user interaction. All cookies are automatically deleted after every browser exit. We do not use persistent cookies.

You can

- Delete existing cookies at any time. If you delete a user authentication cookie while you are logged in, you will need to log in again.

If you contact us by e-mail, the personal data transmitted with this will be processed in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR and if the contact is aimed at concluding a contract based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR. Newsletter

The controller operates a newsletter that informs you about interesting news from our product portfolio. This newsletter is only operated on the basis of your given informed consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. Registration for this is only possible for users that are logged into our shop. For the registration we use a double opt-in procedure: First you register with an e-mail address and then receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm your registration. Only by clicking this link you will receive any newsletter.
In addition to the data described above we also collect your email-address and the registration timestamp, based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR in order to fulfill our obligation to prove your informed consent and to send the newsletter to our costumers.
Further details about the newsletter can be found in the declaration of consent. You can revoke your consent for the future at any time.

Onlineshop

We also offer a shop for business customers. An automatic online registration is not possible, as we thoroughly review your trade licenses on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR before we activate your access to our shop. When costumers register or use the shop, we collect in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR data for user authentication (customer number and password), for the provisioning of our services and for billing, in particular contact information and communication content, as well as contract data and payment data. For the storage of the shopping cart we use cookies. In addition, we collect the aforementioned necessary data to deliver the site and the shop.

Upon termination of the user account, the data held therein will be deleted, unless there are legal requirements to retain the data. After termination, the data will be used for archiving purposes on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. c) GDPR stored in accordance with the legal requirements of commercial and tax law for up to 10 years. We do not guarantee the safety of any data after termination and it is up to the costumer to secure his data before terminating.
In order to prevent misuse, in particular the IP address and time of the interaction are stored, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. This data will be deleted after completion of the procedure, unless there are legal requirements to retain the data.

This website includes third party services

We integrate Google fonts from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. We include services of the BootStrapCDN. Both are used in order to achieve a more appealing and faster website, based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. In this case, the data that is generated when visiting the website is also transmitted to the respective third party, which is necessary to enable the delivery of the font. Goolge Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR, to continually improve the website. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. In case of activation of the IP anonymization, Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Google is certified under the Privacy-Shield Agreement between the US and the EU (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI). Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. On behalf of the website provider Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website provider.
