Due to long-time technical experience there are standard values which are suitable for most applications. Nevertheless, this calculation diagram does not replace technical planning but you will get a rough estimation how many collectors you will need for an effective and well aligned solar system. For large solar collector arrays we recommend a solar simulation tool for dimensioning. Often the solar simulation is requested anyway when you apply for governmental subsidies.
